Animal and jelly glue basically consists of proteins and other quality additives giving its required properties. The components of the formulation are virtually 100% biodegradable. They have no negative effect, either economic or ecological, on the recycling of paper or cardboard. It provides high tack and speed of bond, flexibility of the film, on-wrap characteristics, good adhesion on difficult substrates, machine clean running, no swelling or waving of paper, zero health risk during operation, as well as biodegradable and highly recyclable.

Animal Jelly Glue Troubleshooting

ANIMAL GLUE PROBLEMS-TEMPERATURE Running our animal glue at too low of a temperature can cause a few problems: Stringing, Poor machining, Adhesive that's too thick, Adhesive that sets too quickly. If you are having these problems, try raising the temperature. We recommend a range of 140-150 degrees Fahrenheit for our animal glue. Low humidity can also cause glue to set too quickly- if raising the temperature doesn't fix the problem, try to dehumidify the area surrounding the animal glue and its application as much as possible. Also, the glue could be over-diluted; add some fresh adhesive to remedy. Lastly, try reducing the application rate. If none of these tips work for you and you're still having trouble, contact your sales representative-it may be time to try a different type of SRIDAL animal glue. Animal Jelly Glue for Rigid Box Manufacturing

Jelly Glue These are water-based adhesives whose essential ingredient is collagen, a natural polymer. Collagen proteins, derived from natural sources, are mixed with other safe ingredients including sugar, Epsom salts, glycerin and water.   Generally JELLY GLUE bonds surfaces which are water sensitive, such as paper, board, cloth, foam, backed vinyl fabrics and the like. These products are characterised by strong initial tack properties, along with the proper set time, clean machining, and pleasant odor and provide long adhesive mileage.   When using our jelly glue – it should be melted, preferably in a temperature –controlled, jacketed gluepot, or pre-melt tank to 60-65oC. It may be used undiluted or diluted to your preferred viscosity with clean hot water. Hot jelly glue is applied to one of the surfaces to be bonded, and the surfaces are joined and compressed.
