Since raw materials of animal glue are naturally recyclable, protein glues are also completely biodegradable. They will begin breaking down only weeks after being recycled back into the natural environment.
On box making machines, like the Emmeci machines, the optimal running temperature of protein glue is between 140°F (60°C) and 150°F (66°C).
